These Hives are insulated with double wall construction featuring 1.5 inch foam insulation. These hives are at least 7xs more protected from temperature fluctuation compared to standard Langstroth Hives. making these hives Ideal for both cold and hot climates. Each hive holds 20 Layens Frames. Extra deep frames make for superior overwintering for your bees. The Lid is wrapped in aluminum, and has hinges with lid stay for ease of use.

Each hive is hand built, in my shop it takes approximately 10 hours of labor to build one of these hives with frames, and shipping costs me over $200 per hive.
